Visa Interview Wait Time Info No Longer Available on DOS Web Pages
Two actions have rendered visa interview wait time information no longer available on the travel.state.gov website.
First, the DOS Global Visa Wait Times page had not been updated since January 7, 2025, and on March 7, 2025 was apparently taken down from the DOS website altogether, at least for the time being. Clicking the link now results in a 404 error message.
- The last time the Global Visa Wait Times page was captured by the Internet Archive's WayBack Machine was March 6, 2025.
Second, the DOS Visa Appointment Wait Times tool on the Visa Appointment Wait Times page no longer contains that tool, it just links to the unupdated (and now absent) Global Visa Wait Times page.
- The last time the tool appeared on a page captured by the Internet Archive's WayBack Machine was January 9, 2025. In the next capture on January 17, 2025, the tool no longer appeared.
