Venezuela TPS is governed by two Federal Register notices: Venezuela 2021 and Venezuela 2023.

Humanitarian Parole Programs
- Section 7.b. of Executive Order 14165 of January 20, 2025: Securing Our Borders, Federal Register cite: 90 FR 8647 (January 30, 2025) called on the Secretary of Homeland Security to: "Terminate all categorical parole programs that are contrary to the policies of the United States established in my Executive Orders, including the program known as the 'Processes for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans.'"
- Referring to Executive Order 14165, a January 24, 2025 CBP Carrier Liaison Program update titled Updated Guidance: Executive Order on Securing Our Borders states, "The impacted programs include: - Uniting for Ukraine (U4U) - - Operations Allies Welcome (OAW) - Family Reunification Parole (FRP) - Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans (CHNV) - Safe Mobility Office (SMO) - Central American Minor (CAM)." DHS must take specific actions to terminate each program.
- On January 28, 2025 USCIS posted an Update on Form I-134A news alert with the message: "Due to the Jan. 20, 2025 Executive Order, Securing Our Borders, USCIS is pausing acceptance of Form I-134A, Online Request to be a Supporter and Declaration of Financial Support, until we review all categorical parole processes as required by that order."
Parole programs for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans
On March 3, 2025, DHS sent a notice to OMB for review titled "Termination of Parole Processes for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans."
