To take advantage of the Presidents' Invitation, you need to follow these steps: 

1. The senior international officer registers for the NAFSA 2025 Annual Conference & Expo. 
   Registration opens on February 4, 2025. 

   Register for NAFSA 2025

2. The senior international officer submits a verification form with information about their institution's president. 
   The form will open in February and close on May 5, 2025.

   Complete the verification form

3. NAFSA reviews verification forms to confirm all eligibility requirements are met. 
    
4. Once approved, NAFSA sends an invitation to the president with complimentary registration code. 
    
5. The president must register for the NAFSA 2025 Annual Conference & Expo using the provided code. 
   Presidents must complete their registration by May 12, 2025.

The schedule of activities will continue to be updated leading up to the dates of the conference. A final schedule will be distributed to the registered presidents and their senior international officers in May 2025.

My president cannot attend the NAFSA conference. Can I transfer the complimentary registration to someone else?

No, the complimentary registration is intended only for the higher education institution president. It cannot be transferred to another individual.

My institution does not have a senior international officer. Can my president still receive the complimentary registration?

The Presidents Invitation opportunity is meant to offer a complimentary registration to a president at a higher education institution only after a senior international officer or provost registers for the NAFSA 2025 Annual Conference & Expo. 

Does the Presidents Invitation cover additional expenses like travel, hotel, and meals? Will the complimentary registration allow participation in workshops?

No, the expenses for travel, hotel, and meals are the responsibility of the individual. Workshops and any other registration add-ons are not included with the complimentary conference registration and would incur additional cost.
