Join NAFSA and Save on Registration
Join NAFSA and save $300 USD on your conference registration as an Individual, International, Group, or New member. If you have never been a NAFSA member, your first year of membership is only $199 USD. NAFSA membership provides you with unmatched access to resources and savings throughout the year.
Student members, Retired Professional members, and special International members (from UN-designated least developed countries) save $674 on conference registration.
Volunteer at NAFSA 2025
More than 200 volunteers are needed each year to help make the NAFSA Annual Conference & Expo a success. Volunteering is a great way to network while getting a behind-the-scenes look at the conference. Based on documented hours worked, volunteers may be reimbursed 50-100 percent of the general conference registration fee paid. Additional information about volunteering for NAFSA 2025 is coming soon.
NAFSA 2025 Hotels
NAFSA encourages all attendees to reserve a hotel room within the official conference hotel block. When you book accommodations in the official NAFSA block, you benefit from additional opportunities to network with other conference attendees, access to NAFSA’s housing customer service, and peace of mind that you’re getting the best rate at a vetted hotel. Early-Bird Registration Opens: February 4, 2025
Early-bird registration opens at 12:00 p.m. (EST).
Early-Bird Registration Ends: April 16, 2025
Early-bird registration rates expire at 11:59 p.m. (EDT).
Customer service available until 2:00 p.m. EDT.
Regular Registration Begins: April 17, 2025
Regular registration rates commence at 12:00 a.m. (EDT).
Regular Registration Ends: May 24, 2025
Regular registration rates expire at 11:59 p.m. (EDT).
On-Site Registration Begins: May 25, 2025
On-site registration opens at 7:30 a.m. (EDT). Online registration will also be open.
On-Site Registration Closes: May 30, 2025
Registration closes at 12:00 p.m. (EDT).
2025 Visa Letter of Invitation
For international attendees only: Please note that invitation letters are supplemental documents and may not be required for all visa processes or situations. To receive an invitation letter for this conference, please complete the Invitation Letter Form. Upon submission, your request will be sent to NAFSA staff for processing. All requests will be screened, but not all will be approved. Due to higher than normal requests, responses may be delayed. If approved, you will receive an invitation letter on official letterhead as a PDF document via the email address you provided.
Please check with your local U.S. consulate to allow sufficient time for visa processing. A letter of invitation does not guarantee visa approval.

Registration by Mail (Available February 4, 2025)
To register by mail only, complete the NAFSA 2025 Registration Form and return it with your check to the address printed on the form.
Registration via Fax (Available February 4, 2025)

On-Site Payment Information
As we welcome our participants to our in-person event in San Diego, California, please be advised NAFSA bookstore and registration will be cashless again this year. Payment can be made with VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, institutional, and personal checks.
Satellite Registration Hours
Satellite registration for pre-registered participants to pick-up conference badges will be located at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina. Exhibitors will need to proceed to the Convention Center for badges.
