Internationalizing the Campus 2023

NAFSA's 21st annual report cites exemplary practices, model approaches, and major trends shaping the current state of international education on U.S. campuses. Four institutions, from a strong and diverse set of nominees, were chosen to receive the Senator Paul Simon Award for Comprehensive Internationalization in 2023 and are profiled in depth in this report:

• East Carolina University
• Georgia State University
• Northwestern University
• University of Kentucky

Three institutions received the Senator Paul Simon Spotlight Award for their outstanding accomplishments in specific areas of internationalization:

• Albany State University
• Arizona State University
• Cedar Crest College
