Hotel reservations open on February 4, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. (EST).
NAFSA is pleased to offer attendees the opportunity to reserve a hotel room within the official housing block in San Diego, California, beginning February 4, 12:00 p.m. EST. NAFSA has vetted and secured room blocks for the 2025 Annual Conference & Expo attendees and exhibitors at a variety of hotels in San Diego to meet all tastes and budgets. Hotel reservations will be accepted until May 2, 2025 at 8:00 p.m. EST or until the room block is sold out.
NAFSA is using Orchid Events as the only official Housing Company for NAFSA, to coordinate hotel reservations for the conference. To contact Orchid Events for any questions regarding hotel booking, please contact them at [email protected] or call 1-888-310-1390 and 1-801-214-7280 (international). It is important to make your hotel reservations through Orchid Events as it benefits everyone when attendees utilize this service. By booking your hotel rooms in the official hotel block, attendees will receive:
- Discounted rates for the event at official meeting hotels.
- An immediate email acknowledgement of your hotel assignment.
- Guaranteed room reservation at an “official” NAFSA hotel.
- Access to Orchid Event’s customer service who can assist with hotel reservations.
- All conference hotels are within walking distance to the San Diego Convention Center. (ADA Shuttle available upon request)
- Complimentary in-room access to Wi-Fi internet.

Important NAFSA Housing Policy: At initial hotel booking, NAFSA attendees have the option to reserve up to four rooms under the same name and/or email address. However, NAFSA requires individual guest names and unique email addresses for each reservation be provided to Orchid Events no later than Monday, April 1, 2025, at 12 P.M. EST. Any reservations not in compliance will be cancelled by Orchid Events according to the disclosure and terms and conditions outlined in the NAFSA reservation process.
