Un Yeong Park
Un Yeong Park is an assistant director at The Career Center, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has assisted mainly international students in their career and professional development as well as global employers in their global recruiting activities. He has also run global careers programs for students who are interested in job markets out of the States. Before coming to the U.S., he worked in South Korea for 17 years as an economic journalist, a recruiting agency owner, and a career consultant. He is the first Korean who earned the Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) certificate and launched a commercial model of career counseling. He graduated from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a master’s degree in human resource development. Since 2019, Un Yeong has been serving as a co-chair of National Career Development Association’s International Student Services Committee.
