Trisha Iyonsi

Trisha Iyonsi, International Employment and Tax Coordinator at Oklahoma State University, is the Region III Registrar. Trisha has worked in the field of international education for the past 15 years in a variety of capacities including English Language Learning, J-1 advising for students and scholars, F-1 student advising, international orientation, international student athlete advising and cultural programming. In her current role she oversees all Nonresident Alien tax compliance, 1042-S reporting and withholding, I-9 compliance for international employees, and advises and assists on employment-based immigration including H1B, TN, E-3, O-1 and Green Card petitions. She also advises the Indian Student Association. She has presented at multiple NAFSA conferences, considers herself an advocate for international communities within her campus and beyond, and blogs about identity within the Indian diaspora. Trisha holds undergraduate degrees in Finance and English with a master’s in International Studies.
