Sumie Song

Sumie Song, Ph.D. is Director of Strategic Partnerships at The GREEN Program. She has worked in the field of international education for 13 years. She previously served as co-Chair of the NAFSA Sustainability Special Interest Group (SIG) and before joining The GREEN Program was Director of Global Education, Fulbright Scholar Liaison, and Associate Professor (teaching faculty) at North Park University in Chicago, IL. Sumie’s interest in international education began in high school when she studied abroad in France. She holds a B.A. in Comparative Literature from Williams College and a Ph.D. from Duke University in German Studies.
