Stavroula Boutsis

Stav Boutsis has worked in Admissions and Student Recruitment since 2000 and currently serves as Manager of Saudi Graduate Recruitment and Development at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Saudi Arabia. 

Prior to assuming her role with KAUST, Stav served as Dean of International Admissions & Recruitment for Enrollment Management at Hofstra University where she oversaw undergraduate admissions, graduate admissions and recruitment, and university partnerships. Stav has previously served as Assistant Director of International Undergraduate Admissions at Stony Brook University where she established the University’s International Admissions office and oversaw all international undergraduate operations. Stav has held positions with the Council of International Schools and Study New York Consortium, and she’s a co-author of NAFSA’s guide to International Student Recruitment (third edition). She grew up in Queens, NY, she’s a graduate of Stony Brook University, speaks Greek fluently, and has been living in Saudi Arabia for over 7 years.
