Sarah Stevens (she, her) is the Immigration Specialist at Georgetown University’s Office of Global Services. Sarah’s case load includes supporting new international students during the pre-arrival time period and international alumni after graduation, in addition to advising special cases, presenting webinars and data and reporting. Sarah is active in the international education (IE) community. She is chair of NAFSA Region VII and a member of NAFSA Trainer Corp, previously served on the board of the Alabama Association of International Educators and a regular presenter at the state and regional level. Prior to her role at GU, Sarah worked in IE for 10 years at the University of North Alabama. Sarah has a bachelor’s degree from William Jewell College and a Master of Professional Studies degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of North Alabama. In her personal time, Sarah cherishes time with her husband and children, singing in her local community chorus, reading fantasy and historical fiction, and playing with her dogs.
