Sarah Brockmeyer manages the Center for Global Law & Policy at Santa Clara University School of Law. In this role, she oversees the law school’s global initiatives, including the world’s largest JD study abroad program, robust international visiting student and scholar programs, international law certificates, and a wide range of global law events. She also collaborates with faculty to support and enhance the international law curriculum.

Before joining the law school, Sarah spent eight years in International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS), where she developed best practices for advising, led orientation and programming efforts, and trained staff on complex immigration and regulatory issues. Prior to her work in higher education, she was an immigration paralegal for seven years, specializing in both immigrant and non-immigrant petitions and serving as a J-1/F-1 subject matter expert at several immigration law firms.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys gardening, reading, and staying informed on global affairs. She lives in San Jose, California, with her spouse and their cat, Loki.
