Patricia Mwila, MPA
Patricia Mwlia is the initiator and manager of the International Link and Liaison Office at the University of Zambia, a position held since 2014. She also serves as communications officer for the African Centre of Excellence for Infectious Diseases of Humans and Animals, as well as coordinator of the Secretariat Team of the Zambia Association of Public Universities and Colleges. Mwila has more than 15 years of work experience at the University of Zambia with various portfolios. She worked in the Training and Development Unit from 2009-2013 and as executive assistant to the vice chancellor from 2013-2014. Mwila holds a master's in public administration from the University of Zambia and undertook research entitled “Effectiveness of the national gender policy in ensuring women’s participation in decision making among tertiary learning institutions in Zambia.” She also co-published a monograph on community engagements of the University of Zambia. Mwila is a NAFSA 2018-2019 Global Dialogue Fellow.
