Nicole Trevena Flores

Nicole Trevena Flores holds an MA in Counseling and Sociology. She is a licensed mental health counselor, teaches Psychology and Sociology, and graduate-level Multicultural Counseling. At Southeast Community College, she is the “Global Education Coordinator” and Department Chair for Social Science, including the Global Studies Certificate, she has served in both roles since 2019. She serves on the following boards: Midwest Institute for Intercultural /International Education, NAFSA’s EAKC: Subcommittee on Health & Safety; Chair-Elect for the Community College IIG, Co-Chair for the “Caregivers in International Education” MIG. In pursuit of the Study Abroad Certification, this summer she attended the Forum for Study Abroad’s “Accelerated Residency”.
