Nami Bagirimvano currently serves as Program Manager of the US-Japan Council. Previously she was the Director for Sponsored Students & Special Programs in the Graduate School & International Education at the University of Arkansas - Fayetteville. Previously, she served as the Assistant Director for International Student Retention Programs in the International Students & Scholars Office at the UofA. In ISS, she facilitated programs and services for the adjustment and integration of international students and their families into the campus community and provided leadership for the retention and graduation of international students. As to NAFSA involvement, Nami has presented at conferences on state, regional and national levels. She has also been active with volunteer leadership roles; she has served as a SIG leader, the Poster Chair in the Annual Conference Committee and Local Arrangement Co-Chair in the Region I. She now is the Campus and Community Programming (CCP) Network Leader for the ISSS Knowledge Community.
