Mimi Tran

Mimi Tran is currently the Program Coordinator at the University of Idaho's International Programs Office. In this role, Mimi is passionate about raising leaders and equipping international students and scholars with the skills and knowledge to give them ownership to enrich their educational experience. Born and raised in Australia by parents who are former Vietnamese refugees, Mimi is motivated by ensuring the voices of those who come from minority backgrounds are represented, supported and empowered and she believes that proper stewardship of resources and education is the key in doing so. During Mimi's free time, she enjoys backpacking with her husband and pup in the Idaho wilderness.
