Megumi Tan

Megumi Tan is Associate Director, Inbound Services at the Office of Global Services at New York University. Her primary responsibilities include developing processes for gathering and updating required student data for the university's over 20,000 F-1 and J-1 international students in the SEVIS system and implementing federal regulations and technical changes to coordinate institutional federal compliance. She joined NAFSA Trainer Corp in 2017. She presented several sessions at regional and national NAFSA conferences. Megumi received her MA in Sociology from City College of New York (CUNY) and MA in TESOL from New York University. Megumi means blessing in Japanese and she is originally from Tokyo, Japan.
