Mary Alurwar

Mary has been in the field of International Education for over 10 years and hold an MA in TESOL/ Linguistics from SIUE. Since 2014, she has been working for the University of California, Davis initially as an international student advisor focusing on F-1 and J-1 student employment and other student related issues then transitioned to her current position as an international scholar advisor in early 2016 serving as the J-1 lead advisor and backup for H1-Bs. Prior to this, she worked at SIUC as the lead international student advisor. Her current and previous experiences with NAFSA include serving as the Region XII Postdoc Rep from December 18- December 20, Postdoc SIG Co-Chair since May 2016 and Trainer corps since April 2018.
