Mark Farmer is Director for Higher Education and Public Policy at NAFSA: Association of International Educators, where he works primarily on study abroad and global learning issues. Prior to joining NAFSA in 2011, Mark worked on Capitol Hill for Representative Walt Minnick (D-Idaho) and for the Center for American Progress, a Washington, D.C.-based think tank. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in French from the University of Idaho; during his junior year, he studied abroad in France at the University of Pau.
