Liz Cosgrove Ford
Liz currently serves as Associate Director of International Student and Scholar Services at the University of North Texas where she leads a team of F1 advisors and staff to support nearly 5000 international students. Liz began her career in International Education in 2001 teaching English as a Foreign Language in Taiwan, and was the Director of Schoolhouse Language Center/Jhen Chang Branch in Kaohsiung, Taiwan for over 7 years. In 2012, Liz returned to the U.S. and was Center Director and DSO at ELS/Lubbock at Texas Tech University for four years prior to moving to the ELS/Dallas Center at the University of Texas at Dallas in 2016. Liz left ELS in 2018 to join the UNT Team. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Northern Colorado, a Master's degree in Human Relations and Business from Amberton University, and a Master of Public Administration from UNT. Liz previously served as the 2015-2017 NAFSA Region III Intensive English Program Liaison and as the 2021-2023 NAFSA Region III North Texas Representative.
