Lauryl Cookson

Lauryl Cookson is a Senior Outbound Immigration Advisor for the Office of Global Services at New York University. She specializes in visa and immigration guidance for a high volume of students participating in study away programs across the globe. Lauryl has been passionate about the Education Abroad field ever since studying abroad in England and Canada during her undergrad years. After she obtained a BA in Political Science and International Affairs from the University of Maine, she spent a year teaching English in South Korea before going on to NYU to earn her MA in International Education. Upon graduating from NYU, she served as study abroad advisor for the University of Maine before ultimately returning to NYU in 2018.
