Laure Bordas-Isner
Laure currently works as an international student and scholar advisor at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor. She has been working in the field of international education for several years and has presented on various topics related to U.S. immigration and international education, both at local and regional conferences. In addition to her involvement with Region V, she is also a member of NAFSA's ISS Regulatory Practice committee and one of the ISSS representatives on the MAIE (Michigan Association of International Educators) leadership team.
Prior to becoming an advisor, Laure taught ESL and French for 10+ years at various universities across the U.S. She received her Bachelor’s in English from the Université de Nice Sophia-Antipolis, France, her Master’s in Teaching English as a Second Language from the Pennsylvania State University and her Ph.D. in French Language and Literature from SUNY Buffalo.
