Katrina Knudsen
Katrina Knudsen has been working in international education for over 10 years. In her current role as a Student Advising Manager at the University of Maryland, College Park, she oversees advising services for approximately 6,000 F-1 and J-1 students who are currently enrolled or participating in practical training benefits. Katrina has an M.A. in higher education administration from the University of Maryland and a B.A. from the University of Delaware in foreign languages. Katrina studied in Costa Rica and Japan and her travels sparked a passion for helping others adjust to studying in a different country. Katrina has previously held volunteer roles within NAFSA as a mentor and a Trainer Corps member. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with family, and is working toward her black belt in an all-female karate dojo.
