Kate Hellmann, PhD
Kate Hellmann, PhD, is a faculty administrator and researcher in the field of international education and TESOL. She has a PhD in Education with a focus on International Education and a Master's in Applied Linguistics. Spanish is her second language. She researches faculty experiences with international students in the classroom and beyond, international students and scholars, innovative teaching methodologies, and integration of domestic and international communities in the context of global learning. She has particular interest in the international student journey from recruitment to retention and is interested in finding pathways to deliver relevant and timely research in international education to practitioners in the field. Her research and practice focus on the internationalization of higher education in the United States.
