Jose Martinez serves as the Director of International Student and Scholar Services at the University of the Incarnate Word, where he brings over 15 years of expertise in international education. He has extensive experience working with international students, scholars, visiting groups, and secondary institutions, fostering opportunities for cultural exchange and collaboration. An advocate for global education, Mr. Martinez has presented at national and regional conferences and actively supports professional development in the field. As a mentor, he provides career advising for emerging international educators and promotes leadership roles within NAFSA. He was chair of NAFSA Region III in 2022. Mr. Martinez remains dedicated to advancing international education.
