José Garcia-Contto

José Garcia-Contto has been a professor in the Faculty of Communication at Universidad de Lima for over 25 years, and an advisor at the International Office since 2015. He is dedicated to the teaching and research in semiotics, photography, aesthetics, and digital humanities. Recently he was appointed to the Artificial Intelligence Observatory at the Universidad de Lima.

In addition, José has served as coordinator at REDIPERÚ (Peruvian Network for Internationalization for Higher Education) from 2021 to 2023. He is committed to the promotion of the intercultural experience as core drive of all international cooperation in education.
