Jess Alfaro

Jess Alfaro serves as the PDSO and Manager at Austin Community College.  In this role, she serves as the senior international officer and is over international admissions and enrollment as well as F-1 SEVIS case management.  She has worked in international education for 21 years, serving as the PDSO for F-1s in higher education and as a local coordinator for J-1 high school exchange students. 

Jessica holds a Master's degree in International Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Hispanic Studies from East Carolina University and will complete a PhD in Educational Leadership from Texas Tech University in 2025. Jessica previously served as the Community College Representative on the NC Association of International Educators and Study Texas boards.
