Jenifer Ruby
Jenifer Ruby (she/her) embarked on her international education journey 30 years ago in Japan, teaching English with the Japan Exchange & Teaching Program. After a decade in New York City's international student advising scene, she found her home at Rollins College in 2006, where she now serves as the Director of International Student & Scholar Services. Jenifer's dedication to enriching the lives of Rollins' international students drives her work, ensuring their success in the U.S. She holds a Master of Arts in East Asian Studies from St. John's University, reflecting her profound love for Japanese culture and literature. Jenifer is a stalwart advocate for her profession, having held leadership roles in numerous organizations including Chair of the Florida Association of International Educators, NAFSA KCISSS Chair, and NAFSA Region VII Chair. She has also served as a member of NAFSA Trainer Corps.
