California State University - San Bernardino
RISE Fellow

Isaac Morales (he/him/his) is currently entering his third year in the international education field, and his ninth year in the broader immigration landscape. He is the Immigration Lead Specialist at California State University, San Bernardino's Center for International Studies and Programs. From an early age, as the son of previously undocumented immigrants, Isaac recognized the importance of breaking down barriers in regard to academic pursuits and global migration. After completing his undergraduate degree at New York University, and having the fortune of participating in short-term trips to Puerto Rico, Washington D.C, Israel/Palestine, and France, he became certain of his goals to enter the field of immigration and internationalization. In his current role, Isaac utilizes his in-depth knowledge of immigration law and practice, both in the documented and undocumented spheres, to ensure that advising methods and practices at his institution help students, faculty, and staff prepare successfully when confronting the reality of the complex immigration systems worldwide. In his spare time, Isaac enjoys staying active, training for a half marathon, writing poetry, and listening to current events podcasts.
