Iddah Otieno, PhD

Dr. Iddah Aoko Otieno was born and raised in the East African country of Kenya. She is Professor of English and African Studies at Bluegrass Community & Technical College where she also serves as the Director of the Kenya Exchange Program since 2003. Iddah holds a Ph.D. in Educational Policy Studies and Evaluation (Comparative International Education) from the University of Kentucky. She is a member of the NAFSA Africa Member Interest Group Advisory Board. Iddah also serves on the NAFSA Africa Forum Conference Planning Committee. She is a notable public speaker and author of Kenyan Public Universities in the Age of Internationalization: Challenges and Prospects.
