Dr. Holly Hudson boasts a remarkable two-decade career in Global Education, where she has held nearly every position in the field. Starting as study abroad office student worker, she now serves as the Senior International Officer at Texas A&M University.

Passionate about her work and committed to expanding access for all students, Holly consistently seeks ways to innovate and elevate international education. She has been a strong advocate within professional organizations, chairing and participating in committees and groups within NAFSA, the Forum on Education Abroad, Diversity Abroad, and AIEA. Holly is on the Board of Directors for the Institute for Study Abroad and serves on the Advisory Board for Podium Education. 

Holly joined Texas A&M in 2018, where she successfully navigated one of the nation’s largest Education Abroad programs through the global pandemic. During the past two years, Holly has orchestrated major transformations in international education at Texas A&M, establishing the new Department of Global Engagement to focus on embracing technology, reducing barriers and increasing access to global experiences – whatever form they take. 

Holly holds a Masters in Economic Development from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration from the University of Alabama.

Holly is the 2024 awardee of the EAKC EA Leadership Award.
