
Gina Amico
Gina Amico is a Fellowship Coordinator at The Whitney and Betty MacMillan Center for International and Area Studies at Yale University. In this role, she manages programs such as the Fox International Fellowship and Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) program to support international academic and cultural exchange.As an elected co-chair of the Future Leaders of Yale (FLY) staff affinity group, Gina dedicates her time to supporting the professional development of early-career campus staff through networking and programming.Gina’s diverse background includes teaching English Language Arts and History, working with local education nonprofits through AmeriCorps VISTA, and serving as a Primary Literacy Specialist with the Peace Corps in Guyana. She holds a Master of Science in International Development and Service, an MBA, and is currently pursuing an EdD in Learning and Organizational Change. Driven by her passion for education and global engagement, Gina is committed to fostering cross-cultural connections and advancing meaningful educational initiatives.
