Erin Carney

Erin has been working in the field of international education for the past 10 years, starting with her time as Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Program (CBYX) Young Professional fellow in Germany, to her time working in Japan as an educator, and now as the director of International Student Engagement at Hollins University in Roanoke, VA. Since working at Hollins, she has been active within Region VIII NAFSA as a participant and presenter at the regional conferences and currently serves at the ISSS Liaison of the Virginia International Educators (VIE) NAFSA sub-group. In her free time, she enjoys hiking the Blue Ridge Mountains, cuddling with her 2 cats (Eddie Spaghetti and Miss Ramen Noodle), and reading.
