Daniel Kampsen

A trained lawyer and former Fulbright Scholar, Dan is the Director of Global Safety and Operations at Drexel University. Prior to his role at Drexel, Dan was Assistant Director of International and Off-Campus Education at Lafayette College.  His work focuses on the management and mitigation of risk for all travelers at the University, including incident response, site vetting, strategy, policy development, and education of travelers. He has worked in international education for 10 years in roles focusing on global health and safety, study abroad advising, program development, and program management. Dan chairs the NAFSA Health and Safety Subcommittee, and has presented nationally and internationally in the area of duty of care in study abroad.
