She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in education with concentration in English language learning and she also serves as President of Columbia Council for Internationals. Her passion for working with culturally and linguistically diverse individuals is ever apparent, and she continually strives to demonstrate her advocacy and support for the international community - specifically international teachers and language students. She enjoys empowering educators to become the best version of themselves by honing their skills and developing confidence and agency as it relates to their personal aims and professional endeavors, specifically within the English language teaching community. She often serves as a key-note speaker in international spaces on the topics of native speakerism, world Englishes and representation in academia.
