Claire Piela

As part of Common Purpose’s executive leadership team, Claire plays a strategic role in developing the organization’s work with Higher Education globally. Drawing on 14 years of experience at Common Purpose, she has established many major university and corporate partnerships and pioneered the organization’s Higher Education professional development portfolio, adapting Common Purpose’s forward-thinking leadership approaches, models and tools to the needs and context of the sector. She is a highly accomplished and engaging learning facilitator and public speaker – with deep expertise in designing and facilitating workshops and programmes both online and in-person, for diverse professionals and organizations in cities across the world, including large corporates, universities, young people and senior leaders, government and NGOs.
