Caylie Middleton (Director of Affiliate Engagement, ISEP) has dedicated over 15 years to the field of international education, with a deep belief in the power of global experiences to broaden perspectives and transform lives. She has held leadership roles in study abroad and partnership development at institutions including UVM, UMBC, William & Mary, NC State, and Old Dominion University.

Caylie’s own journey in international education began as an ISEP exchange student at Aix-Marseille Université in France. She later earned her M.S.Ed. in International Higher Education Leadership at Old Dominion University, focusing on comparative higher education systems. Caylie is a regular contributor to the field through NAFSA, the Forum, and other professional communities, with expertise in intercultural training, management, relationship building, strategic planning, and student engagement.

Originally from Baltimore and now based in Vermont, Caylie finds joy in discovering new cuisines, exploring the outdoors year-round with her family and dogs, and visiting new corners of the U.S. and the world. She is passionate about creating meaningful, accessible global learning opportunities for all students.
