Calvin Lester

Calvin B. Lester Jr. serves as the Director of Multicultural and International Affairs at Southern University at Shreveport, a role he has held for the past five years. Bringing a background in public service and public policy to higher education, he is dedicated to fostering global engagement and compliance in international student affairs. Lester earned his Juris Doctorate from the Southern University Law Center and currently serves as the Knowledge Community Regional Representative for International Enrollment Management (KC-IEM), advocating for best practices in global student recruitment and retention.
