Beth Riley

Beth Riley is the Assistant Director in the Ivanhoe International Center at the South Dakota Mines. Her two-person office handles everything international from international recruitment, admissions, retention, international partnerships, events, and education abroad. Her various roles on the NAFSA Region IV team including two-time state representative, two-time conference planner, Trainer Corps, and mentor for newcomers.

Beth earned a master’s degree in Student Affairs Administration from South Dakota State University with an emphasis in International Student Development along with a B.S. degree in Geography. She worked for 11 years as an ESL instructor in Japan and plays the Taiko drum.
