Beth Lorenz

Beth Lorenz joined Clemson University as the Director of Global Engagement in the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business in September 2023. She has worked in the field of international education for over 15 years and started her career in Region VI with her first role as the Study Abroad Advisor for Northern Kentucky University. She joined Region VII in 2014 when she joined the Office of Education Abroad at UNC Charlotte as the Assistant Director. During her time in North Carolina, she has served as the EA Representative for NCAIE and the Local Arrangements Co-Chair for the 2022 NAFSA Regional Conference in Charlotte. She has a B.S. in Applied Cultural Studies and an M.S. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Northern Kentucky University. She has presented at numerous NAFSA regional and annual conferences, state conferences in both North Carolina and South Carolina, and the Terra Dotta Global conference. She joined the NAFSA Region VII team as Treasurer in 2024.
