Amanda Kelso

Amanda Kelso is Assistant Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education at Duke University where she leads the Division of Experiential Education and serves as Executive Director of the Global Education Office. In an international education career spanning three decades, Kelso has extensive experience in program development, organization and operations, student safety and crisis management. Kelso has served as a NAFSA mentor and in the NAFSA Trainer Corps, on the Region VII leadership team, the Annual Conference Committee, and in the EAKC chair stream, serving as EAKC Chair in 2016. A North Carolina native, Kelso earned a B.A. and M.A. in Spanish and a graduate certificate in technology and communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a doctorate in higher education administration from North Carolina State University.
