Alyssa Reed

Alyssa serves as the Executive Assistant for International Affairs at The University of Kansas. She has a B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a M.A. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). Alyssa grew up in Hays, Kansas. At a young age, she realized her love for interacting with people from other cultures and embracing cross-cultural connections. She joined the University of Kansas in 2021 working as an International Student Advisor in International Support Services. Prior to that role, Alyssa worked in other international offices across the state. She also has experience in and a passion for teaching English to adults from refugee and immigrant backgrounds. When not at work, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her loved ones and volunteering.
