Aley Bedair

Aley is the Director of Study Abroad and International Exchange at the University of Arkansas. Her passion for international education was sparked by study abroad and service-learning experiences in Peru.

With experience at both the university and study abroad provider levels, Aley has expertise in creating new programs and initiatives, as well as providing oversight for outreach and risk management. She is currently serves as the NAFSA Region III Education Abroad Knowledge Community Liaison. Her professional focus includes strategic development, cross-campus engagement, and the intersection of religious identity with diversity, equity, and inclusion.

A Texas native, Aley holds a Bachelor's degree in International Studies (Spanish and Religious Studies) from Texas A&M University and is pursuing an MBA at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, Broadway musicals, and visiting alpaca farms.
