Thank you for joining us in New Orleans, Louisiana for the NAFSA 2024 Annual Conference & Expo held May 28–31. Your participation made this year our most diverse, comprehensive, and exciting international education conference and exposition yet.

Orientation for International Attendees

Leaders of the Annual Conference Committee and Member Engagement Committee will help you make the most of the NAFSA Annual Conference through tips and guidance for navigating the Annual Conferences. This orientation is designed for conference professionals based outside of the United States.

Join us Monday, May 27 at 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in rooms 265–268 of the New Orleans Convention Center.

First-Time Attendee Orientation

Welcome, newcomers! Attend this special orientation that will help you get the most from your conference week. NAFSA leaders from the Annual Conference Committee and Member Engagement Committee, as well as NAFA staff, will walk you through conference offerings and provide tips on how to navigate your first conference.

Join us Monday, May 27 at 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in room 260–262 of the New Orleans Convention Center.

Onsite Registration and Badge Pick-up

Onsite registration and badge pick up will begin on Sunday, May 26 at 8:00 a.m. in Hall F at the New Orleans Convention Center. Please note, we only accept checks or credit cards for registration payment onsite.

Badge pick-up is also available at satellite registration located on street level at Hilton Riverside on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.  Check the online planner, mobile app, and hotel lobby signs for hours.

Volunteers

All conference volunteers must check in at the volunteer desk in Conference Information Center, Lobby G, New Orleans Convention Center, at least 30 minutes prior to first shift.  Attendees can also stop by the desk to inquire about any open volunteer opportunities.

Shuttle Bus Transportation

Complimentary conference shuttle will operate limited morning and afternoon from the Sheraton New Orleans to the New Orleans Convention Center Monday, May 27 through Friday, May 31. Please consult the online planner and signage in your hotel lobby for shuttle schedule. A courtesy shuttle will also run from the Hilton Riverside to the convention center. In addition, shuttle transportation will be available to and from the Opening Celebration at Mardi Gras World. Details can be found on hotel lobby signage.

Accessibility and ADA Shuttle Needs

Wheelchair accessible transportation is available upon request during hours of operation to provide service between NAFSA hotels and NOCC. Complimentary Luggage Check

Complimentary Luggage check will be available at the New Orleans Convention Center, Hall F.
Thursday, May 30: 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Friday, May 31: 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Wellness Room

Need a moment of peace and quiet? A quiet room has been set aside at New Orleans Convention Center, Room 263 as a space for no meetings, no phone calls, no conversation. All are welcome. Morning meditation session each morning at 8:00 a.m. offered in this space.

Lactation Rooms

Located in Lobby B and Lobby H of the New Orleans Convention Center, two rooms offer privacy for nursing parents and may be accessed at any time.

Gender Neutral Restrooms

Designated gender-neutral restrooms are in 4 locations at the New Orleans Convention Center: Lobby F/G and Lobby H on Level One, outside New Orleans Theater on Level 2 and across from Room 383 on Level 3.

Prayer Room

Available Sunday, May 26 through Friday, May 31 in Room 274 at the New Orleans Convention Center, the room will be open for all and all are welcome.
