Position: Executive Internationalization Leadership e-Institute (e-Institute) Program Faculty
Term Dates: July 2023 – July 2024
NAFSA's Executive Internationalization Leadership e-Institute (e-Institute) provides executive-level internationalization leadership training for international education professionals responsible for implementing internationalization at their institutions. The program is designed for leaders with more than three years of experience who are currently in an internationalization leadership role at institutions of higher education in the United States and around the world. The e-Institute is a yearlong program, beginning at the end of July each year.

Major Functions and Responsibilities
This position will:
- Facilitate the delivery of professional leadership development curricula for the assigned 8-week unit of the e-Institute program (e.g., Comprehensive Internationalization Leadership & Strategy; Administration; Academic Engagement & Integration; Partnerships & Outreach).
- Facilitate continuous engagement and professional development for program participants in areas of comprehensive internationalization and executive leadership, drawing on own professional experience and expertise.
- Lead and engage in meetings with program participants throughout the assigned unit (one 2-hour Live Learning Lab, and 2-3 additional meetings depending on content and availability).
- Attend and engage in specified meetings throughout the year, including the program orientation, faculty orientation, capstone project introduction, end-of-year celebration, and an in-person meeting at the NAFSA Annual Conference & Expo.
- Participate in planning and debrief meetings as organized by NAFSA staff.
- Actively communicate with and support fellow program faculty throughout the program.
Commitment
- Confirm for a one-year term, renewable upon agreement with NAFSA staff.
- Prepare for and attend meetings with NAFSA staff and program participants throughout the year.
- Dedicate 7-10 hours per month during assigned unit, depending on curricular needs and program participant engagement.

Qualifications
- 10+ years of executive level management experience and current managerial role in the international education field.
- Strong facilitation skills, including working with groups of participants with varying levels of management experience in general and international education in particular.
- Ability and willingness to identify resources and facilitate connections to meet needs of participants.
- Familiarity with different learning styles, adult learning principles, and impact of culture on the learning environment.
- Current NAFSA membership preferred.
- Previous NAFSA training experience preferred (e.g., Trainer Corps, Management Development Program, NAFSA Academy for International Education)
