2011 New Jersey Advocacy Training Day
NAFSA Region X invites all international education advocates and students in the area to join us in honing our advocacy skills at the first-ever New Jersey Advocacy Training Day.
This training will take place on Friday, December 2, 2011 at Ramapo College of New Jersey in Mahwah, NJ.
We are hoping to have at least 50 international education professionals and students in attendance at this training, where seasoned professionals will educate us both on how to become more active citizens in the state of New Jersey and effectively promote international education and exchange.
The schedule for the day is as follows:
Time | Event |
9:00 – 10:00 am | Check-in & continental breakfast |
10:00 – 11:00 am | NJ Issue Briefing – Victoria Donoghue, Stephen Ferst, David Nachman, Jon Stauff |
11:00 – 12:00 pm | Advocacy 101 – Jennifer Quigley, Advocacy Director, US Campaign for Burma |
