NAFSA Comments On DOS Regulatory ReviewOn March 31, 2011, NAFSA submitted comments to the Department of State (DOS) regarding DOS's review of its existing regulations. DOS had given the public 11 days to submit comments, as part of its implementation of Executive Order 13563, "Improving Regulation and Regulatory Review,'' issued by the President on January 18, 2011. The purpose of the review "is to make DOS's regulatory program more effective and less burdensome in achieving its regulatory objectives."
