Lisa A. Maroni, MEd

Lisa A. Maroni has over a decade of experience in international education spanning admissions, recruitment, credential evaluation, student and scholar services, and teaching ESL. She has lived, traveled, and worked in over 70 countries, and regularly presents at conferences on topics including admissions, marketing, student services, and partnership building. Having previously worked at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University-Prescott Campus, Lisa is currently finishing her tenure as the Senior Associate Director of International Outreach at Shoreline Community College, where she was an integral member of a team that moved Shoreline from #24 to #13 in the U.S. for the number of international students studying at a community college. She is especially proud of her efforts to expand student enrollment from sub-Saharan Africa on Shoreline’s campus, which quadrupled during her time leading outreach on the continent, and of her success leading the implementation of the Slate CRM. She will soon be joining the fabulous team at the Institute of International Education as the EducationUSA Regional Educational Advising Coordinator (REAC) for East and Southern Africa.
