Iuliia Hoban, PhD
Iuliia Hoban, PhD, is an experienced higher education professional with expertise in intercultural and global studies and experience in curriculum design, experiential learning, program design, student mentoring and advising, and teaching. Iuliia’s research agenda is broadly focused on the politics of childhood and youth in conflict and peacebuilding settings, conflict resolution, and intercultural communication. She has applied her research skills in NGOs and thinktanks such as Watchlist for Children and Armed Conflict (New York) and the Institute of World Policy (Kyiv, Ukraine). From 2022-23, Hoban served on the Teaching, Learning, and Scholarship Knowledge Community's (TLS KC) leadership team as subcommittee chair for Intercultural Communication and Training, transitioning from the initial role of network leader to wider responsibilities as the Intercultural Communications & Engagement Coordinator.
