Betsy Cohen

Betsy Cohen is executive director for the St. Louis Mosaic Project. This regional initiative is a joint collaboration of the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership, the World Trade Center-St. Louis, and leaders of 32 organizations. The goal is to achieve the fastest growth rate of foreign-born people in St. Louis region by 2025, reversing current declines in the regional population of 2.8 million. This project works with 14 universities to assist in recruiting international students and helping university career centers connect international students to work opportunities. In addition, Cohen speaks at the universities about current hiring needs and strategies for international students in the U.S. workplace. She is on the Advisory Board of St. Louis University School of Business and the Washington University Council for Sustainability. Cohen was recognized by the St. Louis Business Journal and the YWCA. She is an advisor to The Yield Lab agricultural accelerator. Cohen worked with international colleagues in her previous role as a vice president at Nestle Purina. She received her BA from Wellesley College and MBA from the Harvard Business School.
